Describing a structure that is circular, with the stalk inserted in the middle, such as the leaf of the garden nasturtium (Tropaeolum majus), the hairs on the undersurface of the leaves of sea buckthorn (Hippophae rhamnoides), or the sporangiophores of certain cycads.
